Back to Australia!

I arrived in Australia on October 15 and stayed until the 31st to visit Mandy's family and to see her new baby girl, Ava. I absolutely enjoyed myself even though sometimes I was so tired from helping with the girls! I love spending time with family and my nieces and nephews whenever I get the opportunity.
Haylee and Grace were completely entranced in either Hannah Montana or Little Einstein.. don't know which one this was.
I fixed Haylee's hair this day and Mandy said she looked like little Cindy Lu Who. So cute!
Playing in the yard today while Mandy slept

These two pictures are hilarious- I caught her face on how she reacts to drinking 'spicy juice' aka Sprite.
'aahhhhh' spicy.
Cute little Ava Ruby. She's definitely going to have blonde hair!
Ava and I !

We went to the Healesville Sanctuary and saw some really cool animals. These birds walked around the entire place just chillin'.

I loved getting to see Mandy again!!
An emu sitting on her eggs. Kinda cool!
Here's a baby koala- super cute

I finally got to see kangaroos! That was my number one thing I wanted to see while I was there.

Haylee is telling me to be quiet because there was a kangaroo sleeping just across the fence.

My shirt looks really weird here...

Ava did so great while we were walking around! She is such a sweet and adorable little peanut of a baby. She is such a pretty mixture of how Grace and Haylee look... and of course Mandy and Bruce :)

Haylee and Grace decided to walk around in our shoes. I think this is super cute when kids do that.

The girls and I went to the beach one morning and had some fun time together. The beach was just so beautiful and only a few people walked by the whole time.

Isn't the water so gorgeous?!

We decided to all bury our feet in the sand and they thought it was so funny!

Every time Grace would brush off the sand Haylee would throw more on...

The water was colder than ice!!! We could barely put our feet in; and Haylee didn't even want close to the water anyway.

I loved that I got to spend some one on one time with the girls. I hope they remember me when I see them again!

U2 concert!! wooohooo!

Dustin and I and our great friends Tiffiny and Ralf all went to see the U2 360 tour concert at Reliant stadium last night the 14th. It was soooooo stinkin awesome! I had so much fun I can hardly even get it out of my head this morning. I can't write much right now about the pictures cuz I need to finish packing to go to Australia! So when I get the time I will write my commentary!
All I gotta say is I am definitely going to another one of U2's concerts! It totally rocked my world. I'll post videos a little later too. I was singing along and didn't know how well the camera would pick up my voice, so they are a little interesting to listen to!

I got a bracelet for signing up to be a part of the 'ONE' campaign.

If you didn't guess yet, the theme of the concert was a spaceship.
There were sooooo many people there!!!!

Bono pulled a woman on stage with him!!! He sang and danced with her and in the end hugged and kissed her cheek! I was flipping out wishing I could have been her!!!

The screen stretched out and looked so awesome.

What was so super awesome was the graphics and videography on the screen- it was like a full produced music video the whole time, and was crystal clear.

His jacket had laser pointers down the sleeves- I couldn't get a good enough picture of it though! It was so cool!! He wore the same jacket on SNL the week or two before. I know. I watched it too.

They had to have given the best concert ever!! We want to see them again next year when they go out on tour again, but they are only going to the east coast and Colorado and California.... not sure if we will get to go again, but boy would it be so fun if we did! I definitely want to get a floor ticket next time!! I would pay anything to get that spot!

Here are just two of the videos- I had to pick the ones that didn't make me sound like a drunken concert goin idiot even though that's what I sound like anyway. The concert was so darn loud I couldn't hear myself speak or sing, so I was yelling/singing at the top of my lungs not knowing my camera would pick it up.

Interviews!

Dustin is now in the middle of interview mania! He has gone to job fairs all over the place, met many people, dropped a ton of resumes, and now is getting many calls for interviews! We are way excited and wonder who will be the lucky company to snag him! Send good thoughts his way to ease his nervousness! I am so proud of his hard work and persistence; and I know it will all pay off with a job that will be best for him and our future family.
