8 months old

Happy 8 months to my handsome, chunky little man!

 

 Oh I just want to kiss his little lips all day! They are so cute and pink all the time!

 Always curling his toes. He has the most ticklish feet ever. He gets that from Daddy.

 His hair is slowly getting thicker!

Such a sweet, innocent little face. I'm so thankful for my little miracle.

I couldn't be any more in love with my little mister and his long luscious lashes!

Here's what you can do:

You are getting pretty good at your pincer grasp and bringing food to your mouth

You can stand on your own for a few seconds when we stand you next to the couch

You love apple juice, club crackers

You do not like freshly masked bananas.. but you still eat them with a crinkled nose!

You are learning how to scoot in circles on your tummy

Your lower centrals came in at the exact same time!

We took Garrett to Sea World San Antonio with my family and we saw the Shamu show. Garrett actually watched the show! I think he made a friend. I bought a hand puppet of Shamu that squeaks, and he absolutely loves it!

He looked like such a handsome little guy today in his paid shirt. He was having a quiet and sensitive morning, so he wasn't about to let his binky go.

7 months old

 Mimi and Papa Nabors gave Garrett his first Valentines Day card and box of chocolates!

 "If only I could open this box......something is shaking in here.."

 Big feet! I love his long toes!

 His hair is steadily getting longer, so every once in a while I will spike it.

Happy 7 months sweet Garrett! We love you to the moon and back!

About you this month:

You sit up so well now! You only topple over a few times...

You are getting better at putting little crackers in your mouth from your hand

You love your teether biscuits and Baby Mum Mums

You favor your left hand when picking things up...Lefty maybe?!

You are talking more and more and making different sounds all the time

You love to lay your head on mom or dad's shoulder when you are tired and ready for bed :)

Surfside Beach Marathon

 Inside the clubhouse, before the rain...before the pain!

 CHEESE! The mosquitos were awful that morning.

 About a half mile after they started the rain came! It was pouring so hard we could barely drive back to the hotel!

 Keisha was such a huge help, I"m so glad she decided to some with us!

 Waiting, waiting for Dustin. The hard rain kept on for the entire marathon! It let up for about Dustin's last half mile.

 Garrett was such a good sport having to stay in the car for about an hour.

 Garrett's first trip to the beach! He was mesmerized by the water when we went closer. I wonder if he recognized the sound from his sound machine in his room....

 It was really chilly, I was trying to keep him wrapped up.  All the humidity in the air was making his hair fluffy!

 Keisha and I stumbled upon a blowfish! We thought it was a rock, but when we looked closer we saw eyeballs! So cool!

 Here comes Dustin!!!

 Third marathon Done!!

 I think he was telling me about all the mini lakes he had to run through.....

Garrett was super happy he didn't have to hang out with me anymore... Daddy is his favorite.
